Kurt Vonnegut's letter to the head of the school board that burned his books.
Required reading for anyone that burns books.. not that they read.

[…] If you were to bother to read my books, to behave as educated persons would, you would learn that they are not sexy, and do not argue in favor of wildness of any kind. Kurt Vonnegut is one of my favourite writers. I have learned a lot from him. He took a big part in forming my philosophy of life but still I expected something more than hurt outburst from him.

My dad was house-training a puppy we got, and after a while she peed in the house and when my dad found out, she tried to hide under one of her stuffed toys
She was so ashamed about it that my dad didn’t have the heart to punish her xD;
my poodle knows all the kinds of shame. she knows when she does wrong. she drops her ears, lowers her head and goes into her little nook she made herself in the bookshelf.
